Downtown Lafayette's Movies in the Parc presented by Cox and Women's & Children's Hospital features crowd favorite movies under the stars in Parc International. Grab a dozen of your closest friends, coffee and a Danish and head down to "Breakfast at Tiffany's”, Saturday, September 15th.
Struggling writer Paul Varjak moves into a New York apartment building and becomes intrigued by his pretty, quirky neighbor Holly Golightly. Holly's lifestyle confuses and fascinates Paul; in public she flits through parties with a flirty, sophisticated air, but when they're alone she changes into a sweetly vulnerable bundle of neuroses. Haunted by a past left behind, Holly and her poor slob cat take solace in the company of their "Fred” when they suffer a serious case of "the reds”. See Audrey Hepburn in her most famous role light up the big screen at Parc International. But don't forget your lipstick, a girl can't watch this without her lipstick!
Gates open at 5:45p.m., and admission is $2 and free for children 5 and under. Parking is available at Parc-Auto du Centreville at Polk and Vermilion Streets. Concessions are available on site.
