The Alliance Francaise de Lafayette presents Cuisine de Monde Francophone- Summer 2010 Cooking Classes/Salon Dining

Please join us for this series of French Salon type evenings.  Each of these 3 course meals will be served in the The Brandt House (built in the 1820's, renovated in the 1870's, a work in progress), which is located in the City's oldest neighborhood Mills Addition est.1856; in the style of classic 19th century European dining, cooked on a La Cornue stove in antique copper pots.  The food will be served on Old Paris &/or Limoges china, antique damask linen napkins, sterling silver.  Guest will be seated on Louis XIV chairs.  "It is as much about the history as it is about the cuisine".  Written copies of all of the recipes will be presented bilingually.
