Diamond Lynn Hip Hop Class at Basin Arts

Diamond Smith, originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, began her early dance training at The Benjamin School of Dance and continued her dance training for fourteen consecutive years graduating from Passion Dance Center. Diamond furthered her dance training in New York City through the Broadway Dance Center Training Program, and in Los Angeles through the Dana Foglia 3-month Mentorship Program. She has also worked alongside names like Laurieann Gibson for the Pulse Tour in New York. Diamond has cheer and tumbling experience where she trained in motion, jumps, stretching and conditioning. She has nine years of performance and competing in cheer competitions.

Diamond’s notable performances are Beyoncé’s “Lemonade”, Beyoncé’s XLVII Super Bowl halftime show, Beyoncé’s music video “Blow,” Essence Music Festival with Nefatari opening for Diggy Simmons, and Bayou Classic Fan Festival with Choppa Style & Whittney.

Now, Diamond Lynn Smith, is back in Lafayette from Los Angeles to teach another fun Hip Hop Class at Basin Arts!
