DTA! presents Marc Broussard

October 20th | 5:00 PM-8:30 PM

Downtown Alive! presents Marc Broussard plus Blue Monday Blues Review featuring "Lil' Buck" Sinegal, Major Handy, Lee Allen Zeno, Steve Adams & friends at Parc International.

Music starts at 5 pm with Blue Monday Blues Review followed by Lafayette favorite Marc Broussard.

Marc Broussard is an artist with a unique gift of channeling the spirits of classic R&B, rock and soul into contemporary terms. This gift has been a matter of common knowledge since 2002, when Broussard released his debut album, Momentary Setback, which he recorded and released independently at age 20.  Most recently, Marc has released two charitable rhythm and blues covers records titled S.O.S. and S.O.S II. Fifty percent of the proceeds were donated to City of Refuge. His latest album, Easy To Love, released this fall.

Before the concert, and right after work ends for our Downtown employees, DTA! hosts Lafayette’s Happiest Hour. This week’s DTA! Happiest Hour will feature specialty drinks by the The Green Room from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. The party will continue after DTA! with an “After Party” which will begin at The Green Room.

Downtown Alive! is a family-friendly event, and this season we’re making it even better. This week, DTAkids! activities include face painting, balloons, and an inflatable slide.

To continue the new addition of DTA! Manger, patrons with an appetite can expect another lineup of local favorites. This week features delicious food vendors including Acadian Superette, C'est Bon Manger Food Truck, Joy's and The French Press.

As a reminder – DTA! is funded through drink sales, so please leave your ice chests at home. Smoking and pets are not allowed to encourage a safe and family-friendly event for all.

Special thanks to our Urban Leader sponsors, Lafayette Coca-Cola, LUS Fiber, Potty Girl,Uber, Townsquare Media, Delta Media Corporation and Festival International de Louisiane.
