LEDA - RCA Breakfast Series (Q2): Urban Retail Planning and Development

The LEDA - RCA Breakfast Series is a quarterly breakfast education session created by Lafayette Economic Development Authority (LEDA) in conjunction with Realtors Commercial Alliance (Realtors Association of Acadiana).

Each session educates commercial realtors and developers in Lafayette Parish and Acadiana by providing engaging, interactive presentations and dialog about topics that impact the profession and community. The information may also benefit architects, engineers, and economic development professionals in the community. The material is presented by community, businesses and industry leaders.

TOPIC: Urban Retail Planning and Development with Robert Gibbs, AICP, ASLA

Renowned urban retail consultant and author Robert Gibbs will present his views on how to turn downtown Lafayette into a vibrant merchant center. Gibbs will lead a session during the LEDA-RCA Breakfast Series, in partnership with the Downtown Development Authority (DDA), which he will discuss urban retail trends, successful formats and concepts for downtowns, and how real restate pros can successfully pull retailers into downtown Lafayette. This session will be good for commercial realtors, developers, architects, and economic developers.
