Louisiana's finest, world-renowned Pine Leaf Boys have made a name for presenting their own inimitable brand of Louisiana music with youthful exuberance, blending the sounds of Cajun, Zydeco, Swamp-Pop, Country and Soul. Founded in 2005 in Lafayette, Louisiana, Pine Leaf Boys have garnered one Grammy® award (2012 Best Regional Roots) and four Grammy® Nominations, as well as six invitations from the U.S. State Department to present their music to 23 countries throughout Europe and Asia. New York Times described the boys’ music as “the link that connects the young and the old generations,” and Rolling Stone Magazine quoted, “the best new, energetic, and fun Cajun band in a very long time.”
Based in Lafayette, Dustin Dale Gaspard is both Alt. Folk Songwriter and front man/ vocalist for Rock N Soul group DG and The Freetown Sound. He has prided himself on conviction of live performance, clever cryptic lyricism and an always evolving songwriting style. Drawing influence from Kings of Leon, Rateliffe and solo artist Ben Howard, Gaspard bridges the gap between songwriter and rock performer to deliver another direction for all music. With new age roots on the rise Gaspard looks to make his mark for any listener willing to dance to his vision.
