PlanLafayette Week

Monday, October 29th - Saturday, November 3rd

During the week of Oct. 29, Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) will once again host “PlanLafayette Week.” 2018 marks the fourth iteration of the weeklong series of events focused on Lafayette’s Comprehensive Plan, which has been in effect since 2014. Sign up for the FREE workshops!

LCG is collaborating with several community institutions to host activities throughout the week centered on infrastructure, neighborhood planning, smart city efforts, grant writing, historic preservation, Project Front Yard, and the CREATE Initiative. The week also combines public and private collaboration with the Opportunity Machine’s Innovation Conference Nov. 1-3 featuring a CREATE challenge track with teams competing for the best solution to three CREATE challenges. https://www.ominnovationconference.org/omic

There’s even something for the kids! Join the Lafayette Police Department, The Millennial Networking Group and The705 to meet your neighborhood precinct captain at Trunk or Treat on Wednesday, October 31 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Lafayette Police Department.

Thanks to the support of generous partners, all activities will be free of charge, although some events require registration or RSVP to ensure adequate space. All event details, including registration information and location can also be found at Lafayette Consolidated Government or the Lafayette Comprehensive Plan Facebook.
