Join CHB Lafayette and UL Lafayette’s English Department’s Levy Humanities Series in welcoming Joseph Worthen to the bookshop on Nov. 7 @ 7 p.m. for a reading, Q&A, and signing!

Hilarious and harrowing, a chronicle of its depressing time and an immensely entertaining escape from ours, it’s a landmark work and an incredible debut by a major new talent—Joseph Worthen.
Joseph Worthen is a writer from South Carolina. He holds a BA from the University of South Carolina in Media Arts, an MFA from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in Fiction, and a PhD from the University of Louisiana. He currently teaches literature at Lees-McRae College in North Carolina.

FROM THE AIRPORT
After leaving the Lafayette Regional Airport, drive towards University Avenue to head into Downtown Lafayette by way of Johnston and then Jefferson Street.
FROM I-10
Take Exit 101 onto North University Avenue and follow the signs to Downtown Lafayette.
FROM Interstate-49
Interstate 49 becomes the Evangeline Thruway as you enter Lafayette. Take a right off of Evangeline Thruway onto Jefferson Boulevard.
FROM Highway 90
Highway 90 becomes the Evangeline Thruway as you enter Lafayette. Take a left off of Evangeline Thruway onto Jefferson Boulevard.
