Creative Acadiana: The Artist's Guide to Fairs & Markets
Fairs, markets, and shows put you in front of people, but foot traffic doesn’t always turn into sales. In this workshop, led by photographer and marketing consultant April Courville, you’ll learn how to draw the right people to your booth, turn browsers into buyers, and follow up so a good conversation becomes a paying client. Whether you’re a florist working bridal fairs or a painter at the weekend market, you’ll leave with a simple plan to turn foot traffic into paying clients, long after the event ends.
April Courville has spent the past seven years running a successful photography business in which she participated in local events to maximize her leads. As a marketing consultant, she now helps small businesses set up systems that maximize conversions. Prior to her work as a consultant, she was the Marketing Director of Festival International for 3 years - where she gained insight on large scale events and operations. In her early career she worked as a trade show manager for an international company, where she handled over 60 trade shows and conferences across the country.
