Downtown Ambassador Program: One Year Celebration
Downtown Ambassador Program: One Year Celebration
City Center Sessions
Join Downtown Lafayette Unlimited and the Downtown Development Authority for an evening dedicated to reflecting on the first year of the Downtown Ambassador Program and the role it plays in shaping the downtown experience.
This City Center Sessions program will explore the program’s impact on safety, cleanliness, hospitality, and visitor experience, while also providing insight into how it is structured and funded locally through the Downtown Development Authority and Downtown Economic Development District.
The evening will feature a panel discussion with key partners, including Block by Block, local leadership, and community stakeholders, as well as a look ahead at future opportunities, including expanded collaboration with Catholic Charities.
Attendees will also gain a deeper understanding of the partnerships that supported the program’s first year, including UL Lafayette, Acadiana Center for the Arts, Lafayette Consolidated Government, Parish Proud, Krewe de Canailles, Festival International, and others.
