Meet + Greet with Rachel M. Marsh!
Join us at 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 22 at CHB Lafayette for a meet and greet with Louisiana author Rachel Marsh, who may even surprise you with some bookish swag that day!
Rachel will be chatting with you about her middle grade book Rougarou Magic. The story follows sixth grader Feliciana Fruge who’s homesick for Louisiana but trying to blend in at her new home in Boston, but her plans are thwarted when a magical swamp monster unexpectedly arrives.
While you’re at the store chatting with Rachel, you can pre-order her upcoming book Grandpere’s Ghost Swamp, set to release in March 2026. This middle grade novel tells the story of Basil, who’s spent her whole life in New Orleans but has never seen a ghost, and her best friend Tommy, who’s determined to be a ghost hunter. But then Grandere’s ghost appears and he’s intent on connecting Basil with her Cajun heritage.
Secure your free ticket and order a copy of Rougarou Magic on Bon Temps Tix! Books can be pre-ordered through Bon Temps Tix up until 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 21.
You can also pre-order Grandpere’s Ghost Swamp through CHB’s website!
