Gulf Brew returns to Downtown Lafayette on Saturday, September 19, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., bringing together over 200 craft beer selections, live music, local vendors, and the energy of Downtown for a four-hour afternoon event.

Spend the afternoon exploring a variety of breweries throughout the festival footprint, sampling everything from crisp lagers to bold IPAs as you move between brew stops, food offerings, and live music.

Early Bird Tickets

Early Bird tickets will be available starting June 1 for a limited time for $30. After July 30, tickets will transition to General Admission for $45.

Brew Bestie Sponsorship

For $500, upgrade your experience with a group package that includes five tickets, access to the Sponsor Lounge, and recognition in the Brew Book and on social media.

Designated Driver Experience

**The JD Bank Designated Driver Experience **provides access to specialty mocktails and non-alcoholic beer at participating brew stops and Downtown locations, ensuring all guests can participate and while also keeping the event safe. Tickets are $20.

More Than Beer

New this year, the Cox Food Court, supported by Cox Communications, Eat Lafayette, and OneAcadiana, will feature bites from a variety of Downtown restaurants and partners for easy-to-go bites that pair perfectly with your beer samples.

Stage sponsors First Horizon Bank and Adopted Dog Brewing bring live music on-stage at Parc Sans Souci, with performances from WACK, Double Knockout, and Magic Crawfish throughout the afternoon.

Families can enjoy the Little Brewers Area, featuring face painting, bubbles, and kid-friendly activities, while the Louisiana Crafts Guild hosts a crafts zone showcasing local makers.

A Downtown Experience

Gulf Brew is a beer-centric festival hosted Downtown that celebrates the hospitality and culture our urban center is known for. Ticket sales help DLU to continue the Gulf Brew tradition as well as continue programming that is vital to our Downtown’s growth and revitalization.

Occupying some of Downtown’s public park spaces and portions of Jefferson Street, the event will take place in the heart of Downtown Lafayette. Site Map coming soon!

Parking is available surrounding the festival footprint. Street parking is free all day on weekends and the Downtown Parking Garage, Parc-Auto du Centre-Ville located at 121 E Vermilion St has payment options: ParkMobile app, coins, credit cards, or pay-by-text.

This year’s date and time change are based on feedback from guests, volunteers, vendors, and sponsors. Our main goal of creating an experience that invites you to come Downtown for Gulf Brew and encourages you to visit again and again.

Tickets can be purchased on the day of the event at the Check-In tent. We suggest getting tickets in advance to avoid long lines.

Will there be merchandise?

Yes, Gulf Brew is known for its signature merchandise which can be purchased on-site during the event.

Is this still an AcA fundraiser?

DLU honors the decades-long tradition spearheaded by AcA by continuing the tradition of King and Queen of the Brew. All funds from this effort help to continue AcA’s Arts in Education work. 

How do I volunteer?

Events like Gulf Brew don’t happen without an incredible team behind the scenes. If you’re looking for a fun way to get involved, meet people, and support Downtown Lafayette, we’d love to have you volunteer.

FROM THE AIRPORT
After leaving the Lafayette Regional Airport, drive towards University Avenue to head into Downtown Lafayette by way of Johnston and then Jefferson Street.

FROM I-10
Take Exit 101 onto North University Avenue and follow the signs to Downtown Lafayette.

FROM Interstate-49
Interstate 49 becomes the Evangeline Thruway as you enter Lafayette. Take a right off of Evangeline Thruway onto Jefferson Boulevard.

FROM Highway 90
Highway 90 becomes the Evangeline Thruway as you enter Lafayette. Take a left off of Evangeline Thruway onto Jefferson Boulevard.

STREET PARKING
Downtown Lafayette makes parking easy with the ParkMobile Parking App for metered street parking. All metered spaces are free after 5:00 pm on weekdays and all day on weekends.

PARKING GARAGE
The Parc-Auto du Centre-Ville Garage, located at 121 East Vermilion Street, offers 530 affordable parking spaces.

BIKE RACKS
Parking your bike is simpler than ever with 75 new bike racks recently installed by Lafayette City Government in Downtown and nearby areas.
